I’m the laziest blogger ever. Or the busiest. I can’t decided which. Either way, today’s post is a love letter to the ones who offered me a helping hand when I needed it the most.
I am inspired every day by those who have been through so much worse than I will ever see who reached out to me before, during, and after my surgery. What I’ve been through is so much smaller compared to what they have seen and live with every day, and yet they were the ones who offered me help and support. These people amaze me. Do you know people like this? I just cannot get over their kindness.
I am lucky to also have some seriously awesome people in my life who have never been in my shoes but who have helped me up in my weakest moments. They’ve walked me around the hospital, up and down my block, cooked dinner for me and my husband, and held my hand when I cried about superficial things.
So, thanks to everyone who helped me get back on my feet. I am in your debt.
This is sappy and may not ring true for some of you, but for me, this is what I’m feeling today. Hope you have a great night and an awesome week.
Now go out and run!
