Spring Team

{Fist pump}

Little known fact: I was born in New Jersey.

Jersey Girl.

Jersey Girl.

You may have heard that I’m planning on running the Long Branch Half Marathon in New Jersey this Spring. It’s true. I’m gonna storm The Shore with my 7-something minute miles (hello, 2013 goal!).

You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl.

You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can’t take the Jersey out of the girl.

But I’m not doing it alone.

Jess and I are the Run Ambassadors over at lululemon East 66th Street and we are heading up a team of fantastic coaches who will lead long runs EVERY Saturday from January 19th-April 27th.

  1. This is so cool! I’m not running NJ, but I am running Big Sur which is the weekend before, so I’ll try and join you and Jess for some of your runs this winter. Looking forward to it!

  2. This is great! The idea of running the long runs with others sounds like lots of fun. I used to go to a run club near me, but they don’t run as often anymore. Have fun!

  3. Wish I could be there this Saturday, but I am SO excited to join training this spring as soon as I’m back in the city on January 20! Thanks so much for setting all this up, Abby (and Jess)!!

  4. This is awesome!! I’ve been wanting to join one of those Lululemon runs, do you know if they have one for the Soho location? My office is right by that one and I was hoping to do an after work one since I live in Long Island!
